Title: Welcome to the Party.

Author: ashcannwrite

Summary: The gang gets together at Facebooks for a party! Facebook is the hostess while all her friends come over for a night of fun.

Notes: I suck at summaries, please give this a try. Its based off of luvpie1997’s drawing of the internet gang, or interweb series. I’m not sure, but I hope you guys like it! It’s only one chapter, I’ll continue if people like it! Enjoy!

Friday night is here, which meant that Facebook’s weekly get together is tonight. She sets up a few more decorative touches as she hears a knock on the door. Smiling brightly, she runs to the door, standing on her tip toes to see who it is it.

She opens the door, “Hey, Twitter!”

“Hi, @Facebook,” the girl grins and walks into the house. Facebook watches her, still confused to why Twitter talks the way she does. “Your place looks great,” Twitter adds.

Shrugging her shoulders, Facebook laughs, “Oh, it’s nothing. Just a little something here and there.”

Twitter takes a seat on the couch, taking out her phone, “So is everyone coming?”

“Of course they are, it’s a party at my house,” Facebook says as if missing it would be the most ridiculous thing.

“Should I make sure?” Twitter asks, holding up her phone.

Facebook raises an eyebrow, “Uh, no? Trust me, they’ll be here.”

The door bells rings, which causes Facebook to jump up with excitement. She opens the door and sees a dashing young man. “Google, I’m glad you could make it!”

Grinning, Google licks his lips entering the home, “Of course, I wouldn’t miss it.” He casually looks around, “So, has anyone else showed up?”

Facebook rolls her eyes, “Only you and Twitter.”

The small girl looks up from her phone smiling, “Hi, Google.”

“Hello, Twitter,” he nods and sits next to her.

Facebook stands in front of him, arms crossed, “You know she’s not going to show.”

Brow furrowing, Google looks away, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Oh, wow, you don’t know something!” Facebook mocks surprise.

Google pulls a tight smile, nodding, “Right, cute. Well, I know a little something about you, too.”

Letting out a snort, Facebook says, “Yeah? And what’s that?”

“You like Deviant Art,” Google smirks.

Facebook stands still, looking at Google with wide eyes. “I…” Facebook laughs nervously, “What? Pssh, you’re nuts, I gotta go get something from upstairs.”

As she runs up the steps, Google watches her with a satisfied grin. He turns to Twitter, “She’s so obvious.”

“You are, too,” Twitter giggles, “I think that you two are more alike than you’d both like to think.”

“I’m nervous, what if she doesn’t show up? Or what is she doesn’t like me? What if I make a fool out of myself?”

Sighing, Yahoo turns to Blogger, “I think you need to relax.”

Blogger slumps his shoulders, pulling his messenger bag tightly across his chest, “Don’t act like you aren’t nervous. I know you’re just as worried when it comes to Google.”

“Well, at least you have a chance with Tumblr. She’s not very picky, plus her eccentric way of life makes it easy for anyone to talk to her,” Yahoo fixes her skirt as she walks up to the house.

“Google likes you, I can tell,” Blogger runs a hand through his hair nervously. “But Tumblr? She’s so expectant. I never know what’s going on in her head.”

Chuckling, Yahoo knocks on the door, “Trust me, you don’t want to know.”

The door opens and Twitter is standing there, holding up her phone to take a picture. “@Yahoo and @Blogger! How nice to see you both! Come in!”

Yahoo smiles sweetly as she pulls Blogger into the house with her, “It’s very nice to see you, Twitter.”

“Hi, Twitter,” Blogger gives a slanted grin.

“Come on, right this way. @Google is here somewhere. @Facebook! @Yahoo and @Blogger are here!” Twitter shouts as she returns to her seat.

Blogger sits next to her, pulling out his laptop.

Yahoo stands, shaking her head lightly at the sight of her friend. But suddenly, she turns and is caught off guard. Google is standing in the doorway from the kitchen, looking as handsome as ever.

Google can feel his heart pounding and his palms sweating, but he pulls himself together walking towards the girl in purple, “Hello, Yahoo.”

Biting her lip softly, she looks up at him with a small smile, “Hi, Google.”

He smiles at her, motioning to her outfit, “You look very nice tonight.”

“Oh, this? It’s nothing,” she blushes and tucks part of her bangs behind her ear.

Twitter looks over at Blogger, “What are you doing?”

He doesn’t look away from the screen, “Nothing, just updating a few things here and there.”

Smiling, Twitter says, “I heard that @Tumblr is coming tonight.”

A slight blush on his cheeks, he looks up, “Really?”

“Yupp, she should be here soon with @Deviant Art,” nods Twitter.

The corner of his lips tug into a small smile as he shuts his computer slowly, “Well, maybe I should put this away so I can properly greet her.”

“That’s the spirit!” Twitter laughs, returning her attention to her phone.

The door quickly slams open, “Hi guys!”

Another voice comes fast after, “Tumblr, what did I say about invading personal space and privacy? You cannot just barge into other people’s homes.”

Laughing, Twitter greets the two, “@Tumblr @Deviant Art! Hi, there!”

Bloggers eyes widen with slight panic, not knowing what to say, he looks down at his computer.

Tumblr looks to Deviant Art with sad puppy eyes, “I’m sorry, I just-Oh, my gosh, Blogger!” She runs over and sits on the arm of the couch next to him.

He looks up at her with sudden fear, “H-hi, Tumblr.”

“Can I see your computer?” She smiles widely inches from his face.

“Oh, um, sure,” He goes to hand over his laptop, but she manages to have it in her hands before he knows it.

“I have to show you this video, it’s so cute! And I found these pictures of these book shelves, and I found this singer that’s amazing! Here, just watch!” She types away fast as Blogger stares intently, looking up at her every so often.

Yahoo watches from a far with Google. She smiles, “Blogger likes her so much.”

“It’s cute,” Google chuckles, looking down at Yahoo. “I know how he feels. Liking someone so much.”

Feeling eyes on her, Yahoo can swear she feels her cheeks burn, “Is that so?”

Smiling, Google nods, “Yeah.”

Facebook rushes down her stairs, new outfit on and makeup retouched. She stops at the bottom of the steps, lips parting slightly at the sight of Deviant Art.

The girl turns, holding her camera up, “Smile, Facebook.”

“Deviant Art, I didn’t think you’d be here so soon,” Facebook steps down to where the artsy girl stands.

“Well, Tumblr was excited and you know what happens when she’s excited, so we decided we’d come by a little early,” Deviant Art grins, adjusting the pencil behind her ear.

Facebook nods, smiling, “Right, well, uh, make yourself at home, I guess.”

“I plan on it,” she winks, walking over to where Tumblr and Blogger are watching a video of cats.

Twitter walks up to Facebook, putting a hand on her arm, “She looks cute tonight.”

Facebook turns to her friend, glaring, “Do not start with me.”

Twitter giggles and places her phone in her pocket, “Well, I think that’s everyone.”

“Sup, playa’s!”

Groaning, Facebook pinches the bridge of her nose, “Nope, now everyone’s here.”

Putting an arm around Twitter and Facebook, the boy shouts, “Hey, girls!”

“Hello, YouTube,” Facebook gives a pained smile.

“Nice of you to show,” Twitter giggles, putting an arm around his waist.

Grinning maniacally, YouTube says, “The party can begin!”
